Lead a Silent princess along bizarre geometrical landscapes in search for answers, hindered by obnoxious crow-people. If this sounds something more bizarre than Salvador Dali’s dreams, then you’d be right, but that’s what Monument Valley is, and it’s beautiful.
When someone mentions horror, space and caffeine in the span of a sentence, I go into a state of pure euphoria. Filled with mixed feelings of anticipation, hope and above all excitement, so you can forgive me for saying that I was riding the tidal wave of clamor that’s surrounding the indie project Caffeine.
If DMC had a Wuxia cousin, this would probably be it.
Kickstarter, the proving grounds for many a game has another hopeful recruit. Enter The Memory of Eldurim, the debut project of indie company Liminal Games. This small, Utah based company, is developing something that promises to be a mix of free roaming RPG fun and uncompromising combat. Not unlike some sort of Dark Souls and Skyrim lovechild. With only a few days to conquer their monolithic target of $150,000, I’m left to wonder whether they will continue to try to make such an epic dream a reality.
